The brand was founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, and since then its products have stood for functional, timeless and purist design. The product portfolio includes classic men's accessories, a sport and fashion collection as well as electronic products and a men's fragrance range. The products are designed in the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria, and sold worldwide in own stores, shop-in-shops, high quality department stores and exclusive retail outlets. The Horizon is the key style in footwear. It is adidas' first luxury shoe specially engineered for sailing and water related activities. Exclusively developed for the Porsche Design Sport Collection it features a drainage system throughout the foot bed and sole for optimal deviation of water. In addition a non-marking and high abrasion resistant rubber sole with multidirectional grip enables a quicker response over a wet deck.
Adidas also has a collaboration with Diesel on a denim collection. The denim comes both washed and raw in black and indigo colours, some washed pieces also with further customization.
The Adidas logo appears on the back tag, the side, the bottom of the denim and also some buttons have been replaced with the Adidas logo. The Diesel logo appears on the front pocket as usual.
Adidas has collaborated with many companies and celebrities such as Missy Elliot, Jeremy Scott who have done trainers by the help of Adidas and there own clothes wear. Overall Adidas will continue to do collections with other companies and people because it sells and is one of the most popular sporting brands used all over the world today.
